What we collect, and why

If you're looking for work: your first name, phone number, email, the area you live in and how far you'll travel, the kinds of work you want, the shifts you can do, when you can start, your right-to-work status, your English level, and how much experience you have. We use all of it for one thing: to work out which jobs you fit, and to show that fit to a business once you put your hand up.

If you're a business: the business name, your name, phone and email, and the jobs you post. Payment card details go straight to Stripe; we never see them.

Everyone: a session cookie so your page stays yours between clicks, and the usual server logs. We use Plausible for visitor counts; it sets no cookies and doesn't identify you.

Who sees what

Who helps us run the site

Stripe (payments), Postmark (sending email), Hetzner (servers, in the EU) and Honeybadger (error reports). Each processes data only to do that job for us.

How long we keep it

Your rights

You can see and change what we hold about you on your page. You can ask us for a copy, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@workvive.com. If you're unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

How matching works

Matching is automatic and simple: role, hours against your right-to-work limit, start date, distance, and how many of the job's shifts you can do. It decides what you see and what a business sees; it doesn't decide who gets hired. People do.
